1984

 

Kevin T. O’Hara founded NETCO in 1984, in Rowayton, Connecticut. Today, John O'Brien accompanies Kevin in NETCO’s Connecticut office on the chartering side. Linda Siegel, who has been with NETCO since its inception, handles operations and invoicing. 

 

2000

 

NETCO opened its Houston office in 2000.  Presently, NETCO Houston has ten employees. Kevin D. O’Hara, Nicklas Smith, Erik Wheeler, Kim Elbaek, and John Beardsley are on the chartering side. Rhonda Nunez, Estela Rodriguez, Lynette Bryan, and Linn Trosclair are on the operations side, and provide full service and assistance. Janet Travis is the office administrator and handles contract maintenance as well. All of our professionals are available for client support, always.

 

2008 

 

NETCO expanded into the Asian market in 2008 by opening its doors in Singapore.  The office there was started by Mike Gares on the brokerage side, and Chai Lin Goh on the operations side. Since then, Kartik Parmar, Han Seng Tan, and Sam Koh have joined the NETCO team in Singapore.

 

 

Client Portfolio

NETCO's major client list for contract and spot charters includes Shell, Mitsui, Chevron, BP, Ineos, Procter & Gamble, Mitsubishi, ExxonMobil, Marubeni, Tricon, and Vinmar. There are a growing number of other chemical traders and producers. Our selective client portfolio allows us daily exposure to contract and spot markets covering worldwide trade lanes and regional business. We at NETCO are ideally situated to make qualified judgments and interpretations about these markets.
